that one among the 4 students secured 1 st rank in architecture, more over the experience gained was highly enriching.
The next 2 years design discussions continued around our dining table with around 8 to 10 students over weekends.
In 2010 we moved from Koramangala to Rajarajeshwari Nagar and design enthusiasts began flocking our house, one Sunday in 2013 we realized that our entire house was flooded with children, by this time we realized that we truly enjoyed the teaching learning process and wanted to take up teaching to a new level hence quit our job, took to freelancing and named our classes “The Design Venue” and opened 2 designated centers in Koramangala and Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
By 2015 we had students visiting our classes from across Bangalore, a bunch of students and their parents from North Bangalore realized a need for such classes in their locality and took the initiative of finding us
a place and in August 2015 our 3 rd centre in Malleshwaram began.
Our student’s performance had been superb. These results were clearly visible with our students in the best institutes like CEPT, IIT’s, NIFT, NID and leading Architectural colleges, we had 1 st ranks for 3
continuous years from 2013 to 2015.
In 2016, we were invited by Deeksha group of Institutions to conduct in house classes for their students in Kanakpura Road and Yelahanka. At around the same time we also received invitation to guide the students at
Alvas in Moodbidre which we went ahead with.
In April 2018, one of our inspiring team members moved to Kerala and launched a centre in Trivandrum to ignite the passion about creative subjects in the area.
With growing demands in and around Jayanagar, The Design Venue Jayanagar came into existence from 1st June 2018
offering high quality guidance in architecture, fashion and design across the creative industries.
The Design Venue, Indore saw the light of the day on 20 th November 2018 when 3 of our committed team members who had worked with us from the beginning decided to move back to their roots and realized the growing needs of students with regard to architecture, fashion and design in the region.
We at The Design Venue are passionate about the creative subjects we teach and continue to encourage curiosity, risk-taking and adventure in exploring and pushing subject knowledge and its boundaries.
